Which Helper should I install?

The App Store app uses Current Helper. SideTouchLegacy uses its separate Legacy Helper; check the open-source README for matching versions.

Connected, but cannot control the Mac?

Check that Helper is running and allowed under macOS Privacy & Security → Accessibility, then reconnect as the app instructs.

Which download channel should I choose?

Global uses GitHub Releases; CN uses the OSS mirror. Both will show the same version and checksum.

How do I update or uninstall?

Final instructions will be published after the release package and update method are qualified.
